Based on the Emmy Award-Winning television movie by Reginald Rose Adapted for the stage by Sherman L. Sergel
Directed by Aven Hagen Grote
Trapped together in a sweltering jury room, the tensions rise along with the heat as twelve ordinary people must decide the guilt or innocence of a young person accused of murder. What begins as a seemingly simple decision becomes more and more complex as ingrained ideas, systemic racism, and diverging perspectives collide. When one member of the jury challenges the rest to take a closer look at the perceived facts of the case, conflict explodes in the room. A thoughtful and poignant look at the consequences of our actions (or lack thereof), this show asks how you determine the truth when faced with a life-or-death decision.
Tickets: $20 General Public $10 Students, Staff, Seniors, and Groups
